Profile

I am the Chair of the Psychology Program at the University of Guelph-Humber and the Founder of Teaching and Learning Research In Action, a not-for-profit organization focused on translating research on learning into educational practice and design. My background in experimental psychology and the cognitive neuroscience of memory and learning informs my work on how students’ learning trajectories are shaped by engagement, identity, and context. I focus on experiential education, evidence-informed course design, and student–faculty partnerships that support the co-creation of learning. Across my research and leadership roles, my aim is to design sustainable educational structures that improve learning, belonging, and student success at scale.
